can a financial org garnish wages if you are making voluntary monthly payments? is there a minimum amount you can pay monthly to avoid garnishment? car recently repossessed with aprox $15000 owed on loan

The lender can sue you for the deficiency balance, and then garnish your income or your bank account after the lender obtains a judgment. Your payment of installments will not legally prevent the lender from pursuing collections. However, you may be able to protect yourself if you hire an attorney.
