garnishment of federal tax return

There has been a judgement filed against me dating back to march of 2004. I just recieved this information yesterday in the mail, they are trying to garnish my wages, however my ex-husband agreed to take this debt in 2003 in our settlement agreement and then he filed bankruptcy. What are my options

You need to talk to the lawyer who represented you in the divorce. He or she should have protected you by making that part of the property settlement which cannot be discharged, and by other means. You should do this right away.
