garnishment
Ok. when they released it, it showed a zero balance due. Would that be consider satisfied?

If the Judgment creditor is trying to garnish for a debt that has been paid, then you have grounds to have the garnishment Quashed or Dismissed. If their attorney is trying to do it, it may be all the above plus a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), which might allow you to collect civil damages against them. You should start by filing a Motion to Quash the Garnishment Writ. IF you are unable to do this, hire an attorney to do it for you.
