Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri
Hello,
A few days ago I was served a summons to appear in court for a medical bill collection but the summons was not given to me. The guy came to my sisters house where I am currently staying and he handed it to her after she told him I would be back later. The summons was not in an envelope therefore my sister was able to read the summons. Is it legal for them to just hand the papers to whomever?
