Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

Hello,

I was checking my credit report and noticed a civil judgment had posted from a credit card that I owe. I was never served the summons to appear in court. I contacted the court that issued the judgement and I asked them to send me a copy of the summons and proof that I was served. They sent me the info and it states that the person who served me the summons described me as a 47 year old female 170lbs and wearing glasses. I was 23 at the time and dont fit the description. Furthermore, I wasnt even in the state where I was supposably served. This was in NY on July 20th 2010 and i moved to Missouri in Feb 2009. How can I go about correcting this? Who do I contact? Will I need a lawyer?

If this was a New York judgment, you will need to consult with someone admitted to practice in New York.
