i was in the hospital 18 hours and got a bill for alot can the hospital put a lean oon my banking accounts

If the hospital sues you and obtains a judgment, they can then garnish your wages and execute agaisnt your bank acounts. As the statute of limitation for medical malpractice is two years, doctors and hospitals almost never sue sooner than that (you could raisr malpractice as a defense and counterclaim otherwise). So, you have probably two years to negotiate with the hospital and the other care givers, and their collectors. You might consider hiring counsel to deal with them on your behalf.
