What is the punishment for failure to pay on bad checks if your already on probation for it?

Likely your probation will be revoked and the original sentence will be reinstated. In addition, you're likely to get additional time on the second charge.

If you wish to avoid prosecution, one way is through bankruptcy, but you must act quickly.
