Generally speaking if you have taken out a line of credit and cannot make the payments, the creditor may go to court to force you to make payments. If you do not have money, the creditor, assuming they can get a judgment, can seize your personal property (cars, boats, etc.) and sell them on the courthouse steps to satisfy the judgment. The creditor could also garnish your wages. The creditor could garnish your bank account. Of course, additionally, your credit score will go into the gutter and it will be very hard for you to get credit in the future.
