Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri
loan to friend
My ''friend'', who already owed me $2,500, asked me for help to keep his electricity on, he said it was %500.00 and he needed my Visa number. I allowed him access for the electric bill but found out the next month that he used the card for two other bills. The total was close to $1500.00. This was last August. Do I have any legal recourse to get my money back from him. I feel like he embezzled, he recently lost his job (we both worked there) and the $5,000.00 + he owes me is really needed. The credit card he used was pushed to the limit and the interest is 29.99 percent. I have informed him in a letter of this fact, no response.

Re: loan to friend
You probably need to hire someone to colect the money for you or file a pro se law suit. If he has not paid in eleven months, he is nto just suddenly going to pay. You mazy contact me if you are interested in having me pursue this for you.
