Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

My mom bought and paid for a house and put my sister on the title .My sister is very sick and may not live much longer due to heart problem diabetes and being obese 325lbs.

My sister owes around $35,000.00 in credit card bills . Will my mom be responsible for her debt

if she was to die ? Can they use the house for repayment for the credit cards ?

I hope your sister lives thirty more years. If not, then the credit crd credtiors may be able to open an estate for your sister, if the family does not. If her estate has an interest in the house you describe, then they may be able to execute upon her interest. It may come down to how the house is titled now. Your sister (and/or your mother) may need to consult direclty with an atotrney in their area, to examine the real estate documents.
