The parents remain Pakistani. The child may petition for British citizenship, but it isnt guaranteed like in the US. But, depending upon the visa that the parents were on when they entered the UK, the child might be successful in claiming Briish citizenship. As the econly sours, it seems tht soon cpountrie sliek the UK may start exporting transient parents who visit to have baby in the UK, and may even charge them for health services coverd by the government. This isn't happening now, but is in the realm of possiblity for the future. They might deport the parents and let the child remain for adoption in the UK.

Many countries are crcking down on birhting visits,a nd are starting to take harsher actions.

If the Parents have employment int eh UK, when the child is born,, they may be able to petition for British citizenship. But, I do not know the time frame. You might contact a solicitor in the UK, or contact the British embassy in Washington D.C.

I have nto idea if Pakistand woudl consider such achidl as Pakistani. Again you might contact the Pakistani Embassy to answer that.
