Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

In order for a company to garnish wages, isn't there a legal process that needs to be filed, like a judgement, certified letter or can any company just send a request to your employer, when they don't like the arrangments you can pay, which are different than the original loan. when things happen and unable to pay those large amounts they want and they won't or don't want to accept any arrangements. These are payday loan companies, in the State of Missouri

A company wishing to garnish wages must obtain a judgment or leave from the court to issue the garnishment. If yoru employer givwes them any of yoru money, without acourt order, then you have claim against your employer.
