If they accelerate the note, they can refuse to take the previous monthly payment amount. But, most credicros would not refuse to take all overdue payments to reinstate a loan. If they have already filed a replevion action or hired a repo company, they might, as company policy, refuse to take just the past due amount. But, if you paid off the loan, then nearly everly lender I know about will accept that. You might see if you can refinance the vehcile though another lender, such as your credit union.
