I got a phone call from someone says I owe advance America money from 6 years ago and they won't give me their address to send a money order and said they will just take me to court and garnish my wages

if the person that called doesn't work for Advance America, they may have violated several laws about how debt collectors are to act. Before they called, they were required to send you a letter explaining that they ate acting on behalf of Advance America. That letter must include their address.. However, they are not required to accept payments of less than the full amount owed.
