I have received a garnish from a 12 years debt that my ex- wife had filed bankruptcy on. Can they legaling make me pay for a debt that I did not accumulate.

The creditor must have a Judgment against you in order to run a garnishment. If you have any legal grounds to attack the garnishment, you should hire an attorney to fil a Motion to Quash. You do not provide enough information for an attorney to be able to provide you with a more specific response.
