Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri
I sold two jetskies and a trailer to another individual who has not made the payments as promised. I have called them many times. They have promised to pay but never do. Can I go repossess these items or do I need a court order first?

If you have a written sale agreement that references the payment(s) to be made, you can repossess the items without a deputy or Court Order if you can do so safely. But, you might ask a police officer to accompany you when you go to get the items to lessen the chance for a violent confrontation.
Good luck
