I need to know what the statute of limitations on a bad check in Missouti are.

Assuming that the checks are for more than $150, then that is a class D felony, and the statute of limitations, � 556.036.2(1), provides that prosecutions for class D felonies must be commenced within three years.

This applies only to criminal liability, and not to civil liability. Keep in mind that if a prosecution has already commenced (by filing an information or indictment) the statute of limitations is tolled for that period.
