Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

Being Sued by Credit Card Company

I contacted the attorneys who represent the company in an attempt to negotiate a lump sum payment. I am a full-time student and the amount I came up with was unsatisfactory to the attorneys. She was very rude and hung up on me after I told her it was all I could come up with. Other than going to court do I have any recourse to try another negotiation or something similar?

Thanks

Also, I'd like to know the # of a good attorney who could provide me with a free consultation on this matter.
