being sued for promissary note
i am on social security disability and s.s.i. how and where do i go to get forms or affidavits for exemptions to protect my bank account and vehicle? court date is july 17,07 i am very ill and i'm not going to go. please help me. i'm pretty much on my own with this. thank you brenda

If you fail to file and answer denying the allegations and fail to appear at court, it is almost certain that judgment will be taken against you. if this happens, the plaintiff becomes a judgmetn creditor and can attach your bank account(s) it will be up to each tiem they do this to prove that all of the funds are from the sources you describe.
If you so much as deposit a $5 rebate check into yoru account, you could render your entire account subject to execution by that judgment creditor. It is almost alwyas better to fight in the beginning, than ongoing for the next ten years. You might want to hire an attorney to file an answer for you.
