summons to appear in court for credit debtg
I have been summons to appear in court in response to a bad cc--Arrow Financial has retained Kramer & Frank lawyers to settle this $5000.00 debt. I don't have the money...i can't afford a lawyer. What can i expect? I am frightened.

No money to pay, is not a defense that the Court will accept. If you don't think you owe all that they allege, simply tell the judge that you deny the debt. This will likely set the case over, giving you some time to gather or save money to have a lawyer look at the specific facts of your case. Keep in mind that may have to file written response too, DO NOT MISS YOUR COURT DATES.
