Summons with wrong name
What is the best response to a summons that uses my former married name. I am divorced and have had my name legally changed back to my maiden name?

Re: Summons with wrong name
The fact that the attorney who had your served with the summons did not know that you had changed your name does not relieve you from having to comply with the summons. You may certainly advise him or her of your current name, but you may not ignore the summons.
