Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

I am widowed and have HUGE medical bills. If I remarry, will my new spouse be liable for these debts ?

Unless they otherwise assume the debt, it is unlikely that merely marrying you will create debt for the new spouse as to bills you incurred prior to the marriage.
