About two years ago my boss lent me a thousand dollars cash, I have paid him back some a little, but now since we have had a falling out due to me having to go against him on some issues, he is threatening to take me to small claims court. there has never been any signed paper work or checks or any type of paper work between us..he lent me cash from an account that his wife knew nothing about...what do I need to do..

Keep making "documented" payments as you have until the debt is paid. Get a reciept fo reach payment, or pay by Money Order. If that is not possible, then send text a message or email to accompany each payemnt. You need to document each payment you make form here on out. Your boss can prove up the loan by your previous payments. If you appear to be able to substantiate your payments, he will be less likely to sue you. That is if you continue to pay. If you stop paying, then he might be able to sue you and win.

Good luck
