Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
My 33 year old step-daughter has gotten involved in a prostitution ring online. She posted pictures and her phone number with an anonymous name.
My problem is the phone number she posted is under my name and address. I do not want to be part of this and realize I should cancel her phone line.
However, the number will be traced back to me and I am worried I could be implicated.

Stop this practice immediately. If the telephone line is in your name, and you find out it is being used for illegal activity, you need to remove yoruself from the enterprise as soon as you can. Cancel the line today, if you can. Law enforecement will assume that you participated financially when they find out. It will not help you as a defendant, if they can prove that you knew it was occurring.
