Yes- There are restrictions on teenagers having sex. Anyone who has sexual contact with a person under the age of fourteen, has probably violating several laws. Even a teenager can be guilty of that. The same is true for having sex with animals. If a person over the age of twenty-one has sex with a person under the age of eighteen, they have violated the law.

The tougher questions come when two teens who seem to agree to have sex are both between fifteen and eighteen. There are some laws, ordinances, and regulations that make it prohibited. But, they are seldom enforced, absent some other violation. These questions are so fact specific, that is nearly impossible to cover all situations in the small space here. If a teen is considering engaging in sexual activity they should consult with their parent(s) before seeking an attorney.
