If a friend comes to visit, and later on I find out the friend was running from the law, can I get into any trouble?

If you provided aid to a felon on the run, you can be charged. If the State can prove that you knew they were on the run, they may be able to convict you. If you did not know they were evading arrest, and you cooperate, it is unlikely that you will be charged. If the friend is still staying with you, I advise that you ask them to leave.
Good Luck
