Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
My boyfriend is renting an apt. and will be responsible for all deposits, rent and bills, they said if I am going to live with him they still had to do a background check on me, I am 60 years old, If I got a ticket 6yrs ago but was not arrested for marijuana less that a gram, a reckless driving, and driving with paraphnelia all charge were dismissed, can they still refuse to allow me to live with my boyfriend. I need to know the answer as soon as possible. Thank you for your time

Generally, a property owner has the right to decide who the property is rented to, and also to limit the number of people.
