I was incarcerated in a county jail and missed a court date for another charge in that same county while i was in their custody. When I was released I called and explained this to the court clerk, she gave me another court date, but never had the warrant lifted. If I go to the court date she gave me,can I still be arrested

Yes, if there is an outstanding warrant, you could be arrested and held on that warrant at any time between now and your court date or at the court date itself. I would suggest hiring an attorney who could make sure that the warrant is recalled and cancelled, and who would also be able to handle the underlying charge.
