Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I was caught shoplifting at Walmart about a month ago. They didn't press any charges but they did send me a letter in the mail stating that I have to pay a "civil Demand" of $250.00. I can pay the amount but what I want to know is will this mistake be on my record? Will I have trouble finding a job? What are the steps that I need to take to get this taken care of?
