Can you be charged with a crime if there is no evidence against you, other that your name being implied?

It takes little to justify accusing someone of committing a crime. But, if there is no evidence, conviction is unlikely, if you defend yourself.

If charges were filed against you then there is probably other evidence you are not aware of. You should get a lawyer ASAP.
