Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
charged with felony discharge of a firearm while intoxicated.
how severe of a charge is this. I was on my own property. I never made any threats or directed the weapon at anyone. I live in a rural area that has no police department of its own. the county patrols the area along with state police. They took no blood samples or breath alizer test at the time of arrest

Re: charged with felony discharge of a firearm while intoxicated.
I'm not sure off the top of my head what class felony this is, but the fact that it is a felony makes it a very serious charge indeed. You definitley need to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney in the county where you are facing this charge and hope that he or she can defend you or at least get you a decent plea bargain. Good luck.
