I was charged with maintaining a public nuisance and possession of marijuana and pherphenalia. Could a lawyer get the felony nuisance charge dropped or reduced to misdemeanor?

What statute exactly are you charged with violating concerning the "nuisance"? If indeed you are facing a felony charge, then it is possible that an attorney could negotiate an amendment of that charge or a Suspended Imposition of Sentence to avoid a conviction, or it may even be possible to defend the charge outright. We would need much more specific information in order to provide any more specific response. The other charges you mention are serious charges as well. Obviously, you need to consult personally with an attorney and hire the best criminal defense attorney you can afford. If you are in my geographical area, I might be able to offer my services to you for a reasonable fee. I have been practicing criminal law for almost thirty-four years. I would be happy to offer you a free telephone consultation if you would like to speak with me.
