Class B misdemeanor jury trial?

I have been charged with a class B misdemeanor. Do I have the right to a jury trial or is trial by judge the only option for me?

You do have a right to jury trial. However, a competent criminal attorney may be able to negotiate a deal with a prosecutor which yields more favorable results. I would be happy to discuss this with you further and provide you more detailed advice. In any case, make sure you consult with an experienced and competent criminal attorney to make sure that your rights are protected and you get the best resolution to your case.

Yes, you are entitled to a jury trial. Your attorney should be able to advise you whether or not your best option is to take your case to a jury trial. If you do not have an attorney, I have practiced law for thirty years and have handled hundreds of criminal cases. You may call me for a free telephone consultation.
