You do not tell us what the charge is or where the charge arose. If you have already been charged, then the statute of limitations will not help you. If you have not been charged, then the applicable statute of limitations periods vary. Generally, you may be looking at a five year statute but it is impossible to tell with the information you have provided. Please consult with an attorney inthe state where the charge arose.

It depends upon the underlying crime/charge. There are different statutes of limitations. Find out what the crime is, exactly, and then check the state in which it occurred (I see that you have noted MO & AZ - the SOL may be different in each state).
