Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

credit card fraud

I just need to know what can happen to me after been accused of forgery. I'm a full time college student with no criminal record. This was the first time that I used somebody else's identity or personal data to get credit. The total amount that I used was almost $6.000. I'm more than willing to pay that back. Just let me know what my options are and what can I do about it.

Sincerely,

DG

Re: credit card fraud

In your post you do not make it clear whether you have been arrested and charged, or simple "accused". If you have been charged, there is absolutely no doubt that you need an experienced criminal defense attorney to represent you. It may be possible to negotiate a plea bargain which will include repayment certainly and which will hopefully keep you out of jail and perhaps even keep you from having a conviction entered upon your record. I would be willing to provide you with a free consultation. Please feel free to call me at 314-727-2822. Thank you.
