Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Criminal sentence
I have a friend in the Corrections Dept
who was sentenced to 18 years for waiting in the car outside of the convenience store while a friend shot the employee which he had no fore knowledge about. Is there something that can be done in a case where a sentence was handed down that was too extreme even when the family of the victim agrees that the judge was too harsh for the role he played in the crime? Also would a sentence reduction be possible in this circumstance?
