Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
My daughter was babysitting for a friend and her ex-husband showed up drunk at the house. She would not let him in the house and he would not leave. She called the cops, when the cops got there they searched him and found a butcher knife on him. They did not arrest him, they drove his car the station and called his family to come get him. What can be done about this?

Your daughter can make a police report, it ask that her statement be added to the existing report. If the man threatened or tried to harm her, you can sue him. She probably shouldn't babysit there anymore.
Good luck
