Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
destruction of property
My daughter's ex boyfriend came to our apartment and wanted to talk. after telling him to leave, he got mad and put his fist through my front window. What can I do to make him pay for the damage to my window? Thank you for any advice.

Re: destruction of property
You have two options:
1) Make a Police Reprot. Follow it to Court, and asked the Judge to make restitution a condition of any plea agreement or sentence.
OR
2) Take the guy to small claims court. You may get aJudgment, but you will still have to collect it.
Perhaps your homeowner's policy will cover the damage. If they pay, then it is up to them to go after the wrongdoer.
Good Luck
