Theren are a few states that will actively oppose extradition for capital murder, where the home state has no death penalty, and the state wanting to extradite does. Other than that, it is basically an economic and political question as to whether a state will extradite. People have been extradited from Alaska to faces charges in Florida. Rather than forever being in fear of being pulled over or stopped by an officer, (Statutes of limitation freeze while you are out of the state) you might opt to hire an attorney to deal with the warrant.
Good luck
