Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Felony C Very important question

I am working on a major golf development and retirement community in a resort area. While waiting for funding, I wrote a ck to a fired employee for $ 4 k and promptly told him to wait until contacted before depositing it.He deposited it and when it did not clear, he turned it over to the PA office. I received a ltr from the PA which gave me 10 days to satisfy the ck.I was unable to cover the ck and had to plead guilty for writing a bad check. No jail time, 5 years probation, etc.I am 67 years old, never wrote a bad ck,no police record, etc.I have applied for a very large loan and have rcvd the CLOC this week. With the Felony C,I will probably lose it.With no priors, is there anyway I can somehow be accepted by the hedge fund? This devlpmnt will help thousands of people, and I am also building Regional Hospital/Med Clinics.Any suggestion would be extremely helpful.I need to respond by Monday 5/12.I am also being investigated by the Attorney Generals office. The investigator said if I received the funding, he would throw his investigation away. There is a lot riding on this loan.If anyone can offer some helpful advise,I would be most ndebted.A good person doing good with 1 mistake. Please help if you can.Regards

Re: Felony C Very important question

You did not say what jurisdiction the bad check was in. There may still be time to have the guilty plea set aside. Contact an attorney in the area where the case is, as soon as you can. If you need them to move on it Monday, you do not have time to delay.

Good Luck
