Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

My fionce is currently on parole for strong arm robbery and unlawful posession. He has a warrant for a second degree assault which his p.o. Is saying it's a municipal charge and it's less than a misdemenor. I looked online and everywhere i look it sqys it's a class c felony. How do i find out the severity of the charge and the consequence without my fionce turning himself in and risking possible setback

Have him ask the attorney representing him on the second degree assault case, ask the prosecutor if they are pursuing it as a felony or not. If he chooses to go without an attorney and rely only on his PO, then he is likely to get violated. Your fiance can also just look at the citation (ticket) he got for this charge. It should say what statute or ordinance was allegedly violated.
