Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Forging bank account signatures

My ex fiance and I decided to call it quits after almost of three years of living together, I moved back to my home state and he stayed at his home state, we had purchused a car together, only my name was on the loan account and we both were on the registration(he still has the car with him in his state). We then procced to get a checking account together which I just found out that someone either him or his new girlfriend had signed my name to voluntary removing me from the account, I was told that there is nothing the bank can do since it was signed but the bank also said that the latter signature does not look like the one signed when the account was first set up...I am new to this and would like to know my legal rights, this is forgery isn't it?

Re: Forging bank account signatures

Your question does not tell us what state you reside in now, what state you resided in with the boyfriend, what state the car loan was in, what state the car registration is in, or what state the bank is in. Perhaps if you supply adequate information, an attorney would be able to post a response which might be of some help.
