Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

An old friend contacted my husband on facebook and begged and begged him to e-mail her last January. She then kept e-mailing him and enticing him and thus began an intimate relationship over e-mail that lasted until just recently when I found out. (she always contacted him and initiated it and manipulated him, even sent a book to my kids). I thought she'd stop when she knew I found out, and when my husband told her to, but has since called twice. I have written her 3 or 4 times, nice letters and not so nice letters telling her to let me know that she will stay away from my family. She will not respond to me, which is letting me know she has no intention of staying away. Is there any legal thing I can do to make her stop contacting me, my husband and children? She is in N. Carolina. Also, is it okay to write her telling her to stop?

You may want to hire an attorney to send a letter to this woman, that would be countersigned by you and your husband, telling this woman to stop contacting you all. That way you can also be more confident that your husband is not condoning present and future contacts from the woman.

Good luck
