Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
I have a friend who is under legal drinking age but she was drunk at a party and she saw a fight. The police came, and interviewed her, but didn't write her a MIP or anything. Now, seven months later, she has received a subpoena to court as a witness to the fight. She is afraid that if she talks about how she really doesn't remember the fight, they will give her an MIP. Can they do this?
