Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

Two of my friends happen to be outside of a home when the police rsided it they were cuffed and searched and taken to jail. They found crack vocsin and heroin inside the home. They were placed on 24hr holds and the next day warrants were issued charging them. They are currently in county jail on a 100,000 cash only bond. I want to know how its possible they can be charged? They hsd nothin on them and were not residents of the home.

Sounds like these guys should each hire a lawyer. Unless the cops prove one or both of them were in the house, they may be able to beat the charges. Then they may be able to sue for wrongful arrest or wrongful prosecution. Your friends may call me directly. I have handled many such cases over the last 36 years.
