Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
Good-evening; If a person is caught with a controlled substance (2 grams) after it comes back from the lab. and a warrent is issued, how long is the statute of limitations for finding the person and formally charging the person?

Depending upon what the controlled substance is, the statute of limitations could be three years or five years. And, if the person to be charged is a fugitive from justice the statute of limitations will be tolled. If you are this person, or know this person, someone needs to hire attorney.
