Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
My husband was convicted of a misdemeanor in Wisconsin we live in Missouri so his probation was transferred to Missouri. He violated his probation and is currently sitting in jail in missouri. His probation officer held a probation revocation hearing with her and her supervisor present, no judge was present. She revoked his probation. I could bond him out but then Wisconsin may come and get him. What should we do?

I have never heard of another state extraditing someone for a misdemeanor, so I doubt Wisconsin is going to extradite him. I have also never heard of a probation officer having the power to revoke a probation. I urge you to contact a lawyer immediately to ensure your husband's rights are not being abused. Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance.
