my husband is on a ferlow for my son being sick what kind of charge would he get if he did not return

He would be facing a new felony prosecution based on "escape" or violation of the terms of his furlough. If he does this, he will lose various rights he would otherwise have due to "the escape doctrine". Persuade him to return to custody on time.
