Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri
If i went to jail and paid a bails bondsman to get me out and then miss my court date can i pay a lawyer to recall the warrant so i dont go to jail?

You can hire an attorney who can request that the court recall the warrant. Recalling the warrant without requiring additional security is up to the judge. However, I find most judges will at least consider the request if the defendant appears voluntarily and with a lawyer; as these are two signs that the defendant is taking the charges seriously.
