Re: Help im lost in legal bull****

First of all, I can assure you that you are doing the best thing you can by "facing the music", no matter how bad it is. It is very likely that by turning yourself in and dealing with all of the various problems you will actually serve less time then you would if you stayed a fugitive until the law caught up with you. Having said that, don't just go turn yourself in without hiring legal counsel ahead of time if at all possible. An attorney may be able to set up a bond, or obtain a bond reduction, or otherwise negotiate arrangements with the prosecutors' office(s) which will be to your advantage. If you can not hire an attorney, then you will in all likelihood be held and then a public defender may be appointed to represent you. I am guessing that you may have had an attorney on at lesat some of the criminal charges against you. You may want to contact that attorney to inquire what type of attorney's fees would be required to get back into your case(s). If not, you may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822. I have handled hundreds of criminal cases in many different counties throughout Missouri and Illinois, and I may be able to help you. You will need to be able to explain to me in a concise manner each pending case. If you were on probation, what was it for? Did you have a plea bargain? Are there other open cases upon which you have not yet plead or been found guilty? Which counties are involved? What exactly are the other charges? Do you have any upcoming court dates? Are there warrants outstanding? If you will give me a complete picture, I will be able to quote you a retainer fee and also estimate how much your total attorney's fees would run. Once you were able to hire me, we could go from there. Whether you call me or not, you should definitely hire an attorney first. Good luck.
